Who is responsible

What this policy covers

This policy covers the Architect Prep 1.0 study app, its support service and this privacy page. Architect Prep is currently in development for iPhone and iPad. It is an independent learning product, not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic.

Data collected from the app

The app does not send personal information, learning activity, diagnostics or identifiers to Bilella Works or a Bilella Works server. It does not require an account, an Anthropic login or an API key. Lessons and practice questions are included in the app; answering questions does not send a request to Claude or another AI service.

Information stored on your device

The app stores practice answers, including multiple-answer selections, recall ratings, review schedules, mock-test results, lesson completion, the selected exam pack and an optional test date in a local database. Display, practice, mock-test and reminder preferences are stored locally too. These records provide learning and progress features. Bilella Works cannot see or retrieve them.

Your device backup settings may include app data in a backup managed by Apple. The app does not provide a Bilella Works account or cloud synchronisation service.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app asks iOS for notification permission and schedules notifications locally. Reminder choices and schedules are not sent to Bilella Works. You can withdraw notification permission in iOS Settings.

Deleting your information

In the app, choose Settings > Reset Local Progress. This deletes practice history, review schedules, mock history, lesson completion and the saved test date for the selected exam pack. It does not remove preferences or pending reminders. To remove pending reminders, turn off all reminder options and tap Update Reminders.

Deleting the app, rather than offloading it, removes its remaining local database and preferences from the device, subject to Apple's device and backup behaviour. Backups may retain an earlier copy. There is no Bilella Works account or server copy of your learning progress to delete.

Advertising, analytics and tracking

The app contains no advertising, tracking technology, third-party analytics SDK or crash-reporting SDK. It does not sell or share app-user data.

If you contact support

Emailing support is optional. Bilella Works receives your email address, any name shown by your email service, your message and any attachments or device details you choose to include. The app does not automatically attach learning data or diagnostics. Please do not send passwords, API keys, private work material or real certification exam questions.

We use this information to answer your request, investigate faults, protect the app and its users, and meet legal obligations. Without an email address and enough information about the issue, we may not be able to reply or investigate it.

Our lawful bases

We use legitimate interests to answer support requests, fix faults and operate a secure, reliable website. We use legal obligation where information must be kept or disclosed to comply with the law. Support information is not used for advertising or marketing.

How long support information is kept

Normal support correspondence is deleted from the support mailbox within 12 months after the last contact, following the Bilella Works support policy. Relevant information may be kept longer while a security incident, complaint, legal claim or legal obligation remains active, and is deleted when that reason ends. Provider backups may take additional time to expire under the provider's retention process.

Service providers and this website

Optional support email is handled using Gmail by Google. This website is delivered and protected using Cloudflare. Bilella Works does not use visitor accounts, advertising, marketing pixels or visitor analytics on this website.

When you visit a page, Cloudflare receives technical request information such as your IP address, requested page, browser headers, request time and security signals to deliver and protect the site. We do not combine this information with app data or use it to profile visitors. Cloudflare controls retention of its network and security records under its terms.

Read the Google Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We may disclose information to professional advisers or public authorities when reasonably necessary to establish or defend legal rights, prevent harm or comply with the law. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising.

International processing

Google and Cloudflare operate internationally, so support or website information may be processed outside the United Kingdom. Where UK law treats a transfer as restricted, an applicable UK adequacy regulation or another safeguard permitted by UK data protection law is required. You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your support request.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information. Email bilellaworks@gmail.com to make a request. We may ask for enough information to verify your identity. These rights concern support or website information held by Bilella Works; we cannot access learning data stored only on your device.

Right to object: you may object to processing based on legitimate interests by contacting the same address.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office through the ICO complaint page.

Automated decisions and outside services

Local study scores help you review material; they are not official exam results or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Apple separately governs information it processes for the App Store, operating-system services and device backups. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

If you choose to open a source-documentation link, the destination website receives your request under its own privacy policy. Your learning progress is not attached to that link.

Changes to this policy

If an app update or support service changes how information is handled, we will update this policy and relevant App Store privacy answers before that change is released. The effective date above identifies this version.
